Terms of Service

1. Subscription & Billing: Payments are processed monthly or per session via Stripe/PayPal. Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused time in a billing period once processed.

2. Late Arrival Policy: Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time to respect the tutor's schedule. No makeup time is provided for late arrivals.

3. Time Zones: Please verify your time zone when booking. All calendar invites are sent in your local time, but verify if you are booking in CST (Central Standard Time) or other US/MX time zones to avoid confusion.

4. Minors & Recordings: For students under 18, parental consent is required for tutoring. Sessions may be recorded for quality and safety purposes; recordings are strictly confidential and shared only with parents/guardians upon request.

5. Cancellations: Appointments must be rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within the 24-hour window may be subject to a partial or full session fee.

6. Professional Conduct: Synta Learning reserves the right to terminate sessions if a student or parent exhibits disrespectful behavior.

7. Academic Integrity: We provide tools for mastery. We do not complete homework or exams for students; we teach them how to do it themselves.

8. Liability: While we strive for excellence, academic results are a partnership. We cannot guarantee specific grades, though we guarantee the quality of our logic-based methodology.
